		<description>Hi Wouter,

Its seems like Refworks, Endnote, Connotea and 2Collab have flaws in one way or another.

Another useful programme for library cataloguing and managing bibliographic information which you did not mention is WizFolio Web 2.0. It is a web-based programme that stores both journal references and PDFs. if I didn't recall wrongly, it also allows tagging of journal references.</description>

		<description>Hi Wouter

Also, one aspect of social tagging that is very unsocial, and 2collab doesn't handle this either yet, is that sites or app's that allow tags consider the author or tagger to have the final say on the item being tagged. What I mean is: I tag your blog post as just "social media" on 2collab, but in fact this is very top-level tag and not intuitive to others, so another reader would want to add tags to my bookmarks or tag options (both to help me and others). Thus you have truly collaborative tagging, which distinguishes between the original tags and subsequent community / peer generated additions. Without this you are losing a valuable opportunity for pooling of knowledge and truly creating useful folksonomies / taxonomies. Something we are looking to add.

All the best
