@ Kevin,
Thanks for this really interesting update. In my courses I do actually show students CiteUlike as well. But I will have a closer look at those enhancements as well.

@Thijs,
I know you are just starting. Just thought to give my 0.02 as well.

@Mr. Gunn antileech is installed. I hope it helps.

Hi Wouter

Can I just add that we are definitely not finished! 2collab as it stands now forms a great start - but we do have milestones already in mind in the next few months.

This includes implementing more reference management aspects to our import and export functions (as you identify) and also enhancing the group discussion aspects - discussion boards and a Q&A feature being two specifics.

On a general note, from talking to researchers worldwide we see 2collab being used differently everywhere - in Asia for example they were very keen to see Skype integration, something we're looking at now. Also, our philosophy is not to replace how people work together offline, but to help them by providing an online platform that makes collaboration more efficient - especially as most information is networked today.

But all ideas and feedback is welcome! We're still developing!

Regards

Wouter,

In terms of producing bibliographic references, have you seen the 'copy-and-pasteble citation' output we added recently to all the article pages on CiteULike? As far as output styles go we don't do every journal yet, but right now you get
    * Chicago
    * Elsevier
    * Harvard
    * MLA
    * Nature
    * Oxford
    * Science
    * Turabian
    * Vancouver

For example see : http://www.citeulike.org/user/jfr/article/1359433

Quick and dirty I know, but our users have responded to it with tremendous enthusiasm.

On another note, we have upgraded the Groups functionality on CiteULike significantly; see the Saturday 22nd September release notes on this page : http://www.citeulike.org/news
for full details

Best Regards
